## What costs what

- Every ad-library or analysis call costs **1 credit** (a brand lookup, an ad fetch, an image analysis, a video transcript).
- Batch calls cost 1 credit **per item** (e.g. analysing 5 videos in one call = 5 credits).
- Free utility calls: `get_credit_balance` (checking your balance never spends a credit) and `get_competitive_brief` (synthesizes ads you already pulled).
- No overage billing. When credits run out, tools return a clear wall with an upgrade link — never a surprise charge.
